6 Hacks to Strategize Digital MarketingLearning by Doing Out-side In. Unique for this course is that we invert the setting of Action Learning by bringing companies to work with students in class. ARE YOU READY FOR CLASS III on November 7 and 8, 2019? Are you really ready to compete in today's digital economy? Watch the reasons why this course can make a difference. CUTTING-EDGE TOOLS, EXPERIMENTATION, LEARNING FROM EACH OTHER Welcome to the course website of ASB’s newest course on Digital Marketing. Asia School Business is known for Action Learning: our students learn by going out to companies, engaging with managers to solve real-life business problems. We strongly believe that without Action, there is no learning. There is no learning, without Action. Especially in such a fast-moving field as Digital! Student-company Scrum Teams Also in this class-room course we stay true to ASB’s DNA by also employing Learning-by-Doing, but with a slightly different twist. Instead of having our students go onsite, we ask companies to join us on the ASB campus. ASB MBA students will be joined by seasoned practitioners in 'scrum teams'. Each scrum team performs six hacks to strategize the organization's digital marketing strategies. In these mixed student-company teams, the practitioners will share their expertise and experience gained throughout the years, while ASB students with their diverse backgrounds bring in fresh perspectives. Impact Focused The first time we ran this course was in January – March 2018. Eleven firms participated in this course: Collective Intelligence Project, Eventda, FazForward, Guitar Empire, IGL Coatings, Qwork, Rainforest Herbs, The Lost Food Project (TLFP), UNRESERVED, Yoke & Theam and Asia School of Business. The second run of this course was in October – December 2018 and took one and a half month. As with the first two times, the third class will again focus on impact. The scrum teams will go through three different steps that are similar to Google’s Online Marketing Challenge – Formulate, Execute and Evaluate. Guest Lecturers from Google and other digital experts To ensure that students and companies learn and practice the most cutting-edge Digital tools, experts from industry are co-creating and delivering the content most relevant to the development of talent and skills allowing everyone to appreciate the multifaceted aspects of creating complex and digitally activated work.
